Because Yahoo deleted the other list due to inactivity and because the meetup.com has completely shot itself in the foot, I have created the following emailing list:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Boston_Mystic

For all discussion on magic, mysticism, and the occult. Meetups are going to be VERY likely so if you want offline interaction, this is the place for it.

12:56 am - Brief question,...

onemorealias
I am doing some research for a project, and have hit an impasse.
If anyone can give me an origin for 'Malacoda', aside from Dante's Inferno, it would help a great deal ;) The Internet isn't the source of information it's cracked up to be, so it seemed this might be the better place to come.

1:21 pm - Greek mysteries group

kyrene
I need some adventurous people, local to me is a preference but if you can assist from elsewhere, great.

Experience would include initiatory mysteries, ritual writing, experience in magick in general would be fine too.

If you're local, please join this list if you're interested:

11:23 am - Self-Intro'

brianberge
I'd like to introduce myself to the community. (I'm intro'ing myself on many, so please excuse the redundancy if you're on any of the other groups I am.) I'm a 29-year-old Scorpio in Southern California, real into art, guitar, music, the O.T.O., poetry, Thelema and Qabalah. I'm especially interested in the Abramelin Operation, and would love to hear from anyone that's completed it, or otherwise attained K. & C. of the H.G.A. And to anyone with a Palm handheld that's studying Qabalah, I can offer some Palm software I developed to help you out. Take care!

I must be crazy, but so it goes.

Anyone local to the Boston area interested in putting their two cents (drachma?) worth into reviving the Greek Mysteries, email me at kyrene_ariadne@templedionysos.com or join my emailing list:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Hellenic_Mysteries

Again, I must be crazy, or the gods are, or both :)

2:06 pm - Greek Pagan festival this weekend! :)

ex_kyrene656
For any who are curious as to what a Greek ritual is like, the local Hellenion Demos Oreiadon (http://www.nomos-arkhaios.org/demos.htm) is hosting a ritual in CT for the Gamelia, celebrating the marriage of Zeus and Hera.

The event will be held this Saturday, Jan 25 at a UU church in New London, CT.

Details are on this page: http://www.nomos-arkhaios.org/demosevents.htm

If anyone wishes to attend, I have room in my car (albeit somewhat cozy) for about three people, otherwise I can supply directions. Email me at kyrene@palm.net before this Friday to let me know if you're interested.
